Localized legal documents

that hold up under scrutiny

Localization plays an important role in producing professionally translated legal documents that hold up under the scrutiny of a foreign audience. Our certified sworn translators all come with a legal background, so you can be confident your end products will be high quality, precise, and technically sound.

Legal translation calls for legal experts

Lucky for you, we are

Laws can vary significantly between countries, making legal terminology management crucial to avoiding lawsuits when dealing with official documents such as contracts, agreements, and affidavits. Translators must be experts in legal terminology to avoid even the slightest misinterpretation. Lucky for you, ours are.

Graded on quality, accuracy, and turnaround time, we pat ourselves on the back for providing best-in-class legal translation services. We accomplish this by working with people who are both certified linguists and subject matter experts. Not only do our legal translators hold the required degree in Sworn Translation and have at least five years of experience working as a professional translator; they also hold degrees in law.

Anything you need

is at our fingertips

Are you in need of certified legal localization? Look no further! With a people-centric approach, the Terra team provides:

  • Signed certificate of accuracy. The original document (source text) and the translated document (target text) are accompanied by a signed statement from the translator attesting that the translator or company representative believes the target-language text to be an accurate and complete translation of the source-language text.
  • Notarized translation. Depending on the requirements, the Certificate of Accuracy may require the translator’s signature to be notarized by a Notary Public in the U.S.
  • ATA-certified translator. The entity receiving the translation could specify that the translation must be done by an American Translators Association-certified translator. It is then accompanied by the translator ́s seal which includes the certification number, the language pairs, and directions in which the translator is certified.
