Terra’s people are the company’s most valued asset.

Terra Translations has been at the forefront of the modern work environment since our inception; based mainly in Argentina and the United States, our team is fully virtual. Terra’s global team allows us to better serve our clients by quickly responding to requests regardless of time zones, as well as localize for the world by leveraging talent from around the world.

Since Terra was first established over 20 years ago as a family-owned business, company leadership has worked diligently to embrace all employees as family. This very specific culture is nurtured by promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment, by empowering strong leadership at all levels of the organization, and by celebrating company successes.

Our team is encouraged to share ideas and to use their creativity, both for fun, independent projects like the GALA Film Festival, and on the job when collaborating with clients. Behind every communication whether it be email, phone, Skype, etc., there is always a can-do attitude and the motivation to exceed client’s expectations. Our resourcefulness comes through whenever a project needs urgent attention; you can always count on us to provide innovative solutions in order to meet all of your project requirements.

Most of our team members have been working with us for many years, but we are constantly welcoming fresh talented professionals due to rapid company expansion. As our team continues to propel us forward, new positions and advancement opportunities arise. At Terra, we support each other’s professional growth and our mutual commitment can be seen in a year over year retention rate of 99%. Terra cherishes the value each member brings to the work we do.

"I have had the pleasure of working with CEO Marina Ilari and members of the Terra team since 2017. I have observed growth in several industries and their active participation in the small, minority and woman owned business communities. Terra’s culture is so unique; they strive to promote an ease of doing business, no matter how complex the project may be. I truly appreciate their positivity and personable dynamic."

While every person at Terra plays a critical role in company operations, our project managers orchestrate and execute the linguistic strategy that ensures impeccable results; they are the gatekeepers to each assignment. Project managers support our translators, editors and quality assurance managers while making sure their work strictly aligns with our clients’ preferences. As seasoned professionals, they know exactly how to lead any project to a successful outcome.

Terra’s project managers’ skills and extensive experience make them invaluable partners. They are always interested in maintaining long-lasting, quality relationships with new and existing clients.

Terra takes immense pride in staffing a well-rounded, highly qualified internal team of native speaking translators and linguists. However, in cases when capacity demands, Terra has access to a network of over 500 company-vetted language professionals. Access to this talent pool allows the reach and scalability of a global company, while still preserving high quality and close communication.

One of our favorite moments of the year is Terra’s Annual Dinner. Originally conceived as an opportunity to meet new members who join the organization, it has become an event in the calendar everybody looks forward to. From different cities in Argentina and the rest of the world, team members come together in Buenos Aires for a fun and enjoyable evening. Every year we celebrate our team’s accomplishments and toast to more future success.
